Basically I don't have a clue what to do What would you say is the best thing to start out with and to level up etc? I've tried levelling up many various things i.e forge guns, heavy loadout, vehicles, assault rifles, smg's , snipers, suits. Nothing seems to work for me, feels like i'm getting dropped much quicker then they are. I thought about starting off levelling up armour and shields but I just dunno. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. |

I prefer to run and gun but more often then not I die pretty quickly. Ideally I'd like a close to medium range weapon. I try to keep moving but once I get into someone's line of fire I get dropped pretty quickly I didn't know there was a difference in armour or shield suits :/
I never know if it's best to upgrade a smg or AR straight away or if it's best to split it with armour/shields. I also just end up grabbing type 1 or type 2 assault suits. |

Thanks for the tips Going to try it out now see if it works out. I chose the burst rifle as I have used it previously and seemed to do better with it then the creodron one.
Not a good first game. People camping with remote explosives on the spawn |

Laurent Cazaderon wrote:Ad ski. According to what you're saying, i would recommand skilling for the type2 assault dropsuit. Or type2 scout suit. Depending on how balance you want your speed\Health ratio to be. => Assault, you'll be tougher but not fast enough to avoid a badly started fight => Scout, you'll get the chance to run for your life but if fight s inevitable, you'll have les HP.
If you're a close to medium range fighter, skill SMG and focus on sidearm sharpshooter and sidearm operation. (those skills are all X1 wich mean you'll raise them to lvl 5 pretty quickly) => With your type 2 assault suit, you should be able to equip 2 smg as weapons. This will compensate your low recharge time and low ammo cap. Maybe try breach version to compensate your low damage skills. => Maybe skill "demolition" lvl1 so you can use remote explosives to boogie trap objective points or get rid of heavy infantry.
And skill your shield. Your type2 suit will be enough for a while and you should enhance its shield as much as possible. Use extenders and a light recharge module.
On your armor. Just equip a militia armor rep. And probably a CPU extension when you'll get bigger shield module. Militia grade will do for a while until you reach more CPU consuming weapons. Thanks for the advice. I always wondered why my armour never repaired before |
